Social Media & Digital Account Coordinator

Idea Lab Digital (ILD), a digital ad agency based in Moorestown, New Jersey, is seeking a Social Media & Digital Account Coordinator to assist with organic social media management and digital advertising support for the agency and select clients. This entry-level position will work closely with our Digital Account Manager, creative team, and clients to plan, execute, and report on social media and digital advertising initiatives.

This is a hybrid role requiring in-person work at our Moorestown, New Jersey location three days per week. The position is remote on Mondays and Fridays; however, occasional in-person attendance may be required on remote days to support client or industry events.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage social media content plans and calendars for the agency and select clients
  • Coordinate with designers and internal teams to execute social content aligned with brand strategy
  • Schedule and publish content across social platforms
  • Monitor engagement and assist with basic community management
  • Track and report on organic social media performance
  • Attend select client, agency, and industry events (within a reasonable local/regional travel distance) to capture photos and short-form video content using a mobile device
  • Create, edit, and publish short-form video content, including Instagram and Facebook Reels, using native platform tools and mobile editing apps
  • Perform basic photo and video editing on a mobile device (iPhone), including trimming clips, adding captions, text overlays, and simple transitions
  • Post live or near real-time social media content from events as needed
  • Occasional travel and event attendance may occur on days when the rest of the team is working remotely
  • Assist with planning and execution of paid digital ad campaigns across platforms including:
    • Google (Search, Display, YouTube)
    • Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
    • LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and other platforms as needed
  • Draft creative work plans outlining campaign goals, messaging, targeting, and timelines
  • Place, monitor, and assist with optimization of digital ad campaigns
  • Assist with reporting and performance analysis using Google Analytics and platform tools
  • Work collaboratively with the Chief Creative Officer, Digital Account Manager, designers, and developers
  • Support internal planning, campaign coordination, and documentation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
  • Strong interest in social media marketing and digital advertising
  • Experience creating and editing short-form social video (Reels, Stories, etc.)
  • Familiarity with major social platforms and best practices
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics and digital ad platforms (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative agency environment
