The Mighty Oaks — Featuring Smart Alec the Acorn

Branding is crucial when starting an athletic program. Establishing an identity can lead to success and status within the collegiate athletic world, which is exactly what Salem Community College (SCC) is going for. With a full logo, shortened icon version, and mighty mascot, SCC has taken the steps toward re-establishing an athletic program.

Since kickstarting their athletics in 2020, SCC now has programs for baseball, men & women's basketball, cross country, softball, men & women's soccer, and esports. They incorporated their Mighty Oaks logo into uniforms, player & fan gear, signage, social platforms, marketing, and more.
